After you learn about different components and types of ecosystems, label various plants, animals, environmental factors, and decomposers that are specific to either a pond ecosystem or a desert ecosystem.

2. If you want to earn extra credit, you can choose an additional ecosystem (other than a pond or desert) and label the various plants, animals, environmental factors, and decomposers of that specific ecosystem.
3. After reading through all of the pages to this website, and after viewing all of the linked items (underlined items), take a quiz on ecosystems (by clicking the image below). After you submit all of your quiz answers, a certificate of your score will be shown. Print this certificate and give it to your teacher (with your ecosystem chart). Make sure your name is on both items!
